Dhiway, India’s first Verifiable Data Exchange Platform

Dhiway was incorporated in 2019 by Amar Tumballi, Sreevidya Satish, Pradeep KP and Satish Mohan. Dhiway builds data interchange systems and enables organizations to deploy governance frameworks to sustain these as sustainable digital assets. Dhiway is a founder-member of the Trust over IP (ToIP) Foundation, which is working to enable the trustworthy exchange and verification of data between any two parties on the Internet.

Dhiway builds products and services that enable authentic datastreams to be created, exchanged and verified. To accomplish this and provide consumers with a high degree of certainty, its software does not record any personally identifiable information or sensitive information on the immutable CORD blockchain. Instead, the company uses the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) concept to reference transactions. This prevents large information stores, which become targets as “data honeypots”. Dhiway’s applications and services benefit from the data and systems security advances offered on public cloud infrastructure. Additionally, it conducts third-party audits to identify any risks to the data and application services.

The platform is dedicated to reshaping the digital future by collaborating closely with enterprises and government bodies to create frictionless solutions at a population scale, instilling belief, confidence, and absolute certainty. The company’s approach to technology is rooted in scalability and eliminating friction as a core objective. As trailblazers in the market, Dhiway has developed a universal identification system that embodies principles such as portability, persistence, privacy, and owner control, enabling near-frictionless cooperation among entities without pre-existing trust relationships.

#Mark Studio credentialing platform by Dhiway

#MARK Studio allows an organization to design, issue and manage a range of digitally verifiable records, which are embedded with a trust mark called #MARK and the transaction event is recorded on the CORD blockchain. On the platform issuing organizations like colleges and universities can create and issue tamper-resistant certificates and transcripts. Or, companies can issue secure ID documents, and workplace-related credentials. It enables issuers to create, share, and edit verifiable documents effortlessly, ensuring holders are always up-to-date and can instantly verify them.

#MARK Studio is the way to issue and manage Proof of Education and Knowledge, Proof of Skill and Proof of Work and Livelihood. This helps build multiple networks of ecosystems where such credentials can be exchanged and quickly verified to make available new opportunities to the holder of these credentials.

Asking about how Dhiway can transform the safety and security of its users, Satish said, “Digital interactions require the establishment of trust – a sense of certainty that the information you are engaging is with untampered and the individual or device transmitting the information is indeed who they claim to be. And today, this needs to be nearly instantaneous as we engage in an exchange of digital information throughout. Dhiway’s vision is to address the current gaps in the trusted exchange of information using infrastructure and products which are easy to obtain and easier to use. Large ecosystems of digital trust operating at a national scale need superbly simple services which provide the end consumers with the assurance that they are engaging securely, safely and with absolute certainty”, he added.

CORD and its features

CORD is the only tokenless blockchain infrastructure available in India to design, develop and deploy Web3 applications and services which want to offer tamper-resistant data-resistant ecosystems. Dhiway specifically designed CORD to avoid the unsustainable unit economics created by token-based blockchain. CORD is truly a “made in India” innovation which is available as an open-source project to foster the community-centric collaboration space. CORD enables URIs which are persistent and portable references to data contexts that are anchored and thus can be easily referenced across the digital trust ecosystems.

Dhiway is gearing up for nationwide and global expansion to broaden its reach and impact. With its cutting-edge solutions and a relentless drive for innovation, the startup is poised to scale its operations across diverse regions, leveraging its unparalleled expertise in technology to unlock new opportunities and create value for its customers and partners worldwide.
